Mickey O'Neil Edit

Quote: "I bet ya can box a little, can't ya sir? Aye, you look like a boxer."
Background: Mickey is family to a pack of gypsies, Pikeys, on the far outskirts of London. His dad ran off to America when he was five and so sorely missed any kind of father-figure growing up. Sure, his uncles would come beat him from time to time to keep him in line, but that was about it. Like all of the fellow Pikeys, Mickey learned the art of fast-talking (if you can understand them) and bargaining. He also raked in a lot of money becoming one of the best bare-knuckle boxers in the U.K. This isn't official as there is no governing body to the underground illegal bare-knuckle boxing circuits, but out of thirty or so fights, he hasn't been beat. Within the past year his mother died, burned alive in her house-on-wheels. The Pikeys took out revenge on perpetrator and now Mickey has taken the gypsy caravan as his own since he has no one else to care for. With the good luck Mickey brings them, the Pikeys are all too happy to oblige.
Description: Mickey is a light, muscular man about in his thirties. His clothes are stylish but often look like they were recently bought at the local second-hand store. He is usually unshaven and often a little muddy or dirty. He talks fast and slurs words together in the extreme with the addition of a harsh Cockney accent.
Storytelling Hints: Mickey is resolved to live a short, brilliant life. He isn't afraid to push mob bosses' buttons or get in fights that could leave him with mush for brains. Mickey isn't stupid though, every risk must have a reward that Mickey can foresee. Often times the person who places a bet against Mickey won't even see what Mickey considers a reward until it is too late. The gypsy clan is also there for support if Mickey does piss off a certain mob boss. Mickey won't ask for help, but the others take care of their own.
