Hattori Hanzo Edit
Quote: "For those regarded as warriors... When engaged in combat, the vanquishing of thine enemy can be the warrior's only concern."
Background: Hattori Hanzo is the greatest swordmaker of this century and the last. He has made dozens of samurai swords through his life, but most are preciously guarded and rarely sold or passed on. For most of his life he has lived on Okinawa running a small sushi shop with few patrons. Lately, there are rumors that he has left his sanctuary after hearing of the death of his finest student, Bill. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Description: A short Japanese man with a slight build and small moustache. When out and about he wears non-descript clothes that allow him to blend in with the crowd. The feature people discuss most about Hattori Hanzo is the constant gleam in his eye. This gleam reflects his mood and emotions flow through as if his soul were screaming.
Storytelling Hints: Hattori Hanzo is calculated and patient. He would rather counterattack than attack, and plays his moves like chess (even though they are far from apparent). If he is confronted with questions or demands, he plays them aside like he is a foolish old man. If he is confronted with violence he allows one chance for the aggressor to apologize and then usually makes short work of the aggressor if there is no apology. He would like to be light-hearted all of the time, but understands when the time calls for something otherwise.
